It can be a record, a film, a game, a shirt, a piece of software, an essay, an event, or a stupid object on a shelf. Anyone can make one. Nobody owns Vataguess itself.
Vataguess persists; configurations change.
Whatever exists right now — the people, the work, the tools, the place, the intentions — is a configuration. It can change completely, or end, without taking Vataguess with it.
Several can exist at once and contradict each other. None of them is the real one.
What it can be
There is no required medium, genre, aesthetic, method, or level of seriousness.
Black metal and country pop both qualify. So do a documentary, a font, a video game, a novel, a serious work of theory, and a joke made into a physical object. Manifestations are allowed to contradict each other; the contradiction is the most accurate description of Vataguess available.

Participation
Bring what you do.
No permission, credentials, audition, scene status, approved genre, or prior reading. There is nothing to apply for and no official Vataguess artist to become.
Join something already happening, start something where you live, or work alone and tell nobody until it is finished.
Commerce
Make it. Share it. Sell it.
Sell the record, the poster, the game, the shirt, the object, the service, and keep what you earn. What you make is yours. Profit is not enclosure.
What nobody gets is Vataguess itself. Success with one manifestation does not convert into exclusive ownership of the name, or into control over anyone else’s ability to participate.
Ethics
Openness is not ethical emptiness.
Vataguess is not a vehicle for racism, sexism, dehumanization, targeted harassment, Nazi or comparable extremist ideology, or advocacy of violence against people.
Everything else stays open: political, religious, offensive, vulgar, tasteless, wrong, badly made, or simply not to anyone’s liking. This is a floor, not a taste committee.
Make it. Share it. Sell it. Mutate it. Don’t capture Vataguess.
